European Cultural Festival

Come to the 7th annual European Cultural Festival in The Orchard at University Place!

Learn about the cultures from different countries in Europe through food, dancing, music, & battling knights.

Be thrilled by the fighting knights from the 13th Legion as they battle it out right in front of your eyes.  The stage entertainment leading up to the knights includes performances representing different parts of Europe including: Scottish & Irish Bagpipes, Irish dancing, Spanish Flamenco dancing, Alps (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Old World & Contemporary Folk Music.  There will also be a Maypole workshop area where kids and adults can learn and participate in the Maypole dance.

Other activities include kids axe throwing and Archery, yard games and a play on Pirate Ship.

Try the delicious European foods of pizza, waffles and cinnamon pastries, Italian Ice and treats for sell from the Swedish Heritage Society.
