Pioneer Day Celebration & Fireworks at University Place

5:00 p.m. – 9:50 p.m.
Celebrate Utah Pioneer Day at University Place! This is the most attended event at University Place, with an expected 3,000 spectators at The Orchard, and another 7,000 expected in the surrounding campus.
Starting at 4pm you can bring chairs and blankets to reserve a spot for the fireworks show. To save a spot one person from your party must be always present. Any items left unattended will be moved. Parking is FREE, including in the north parking garage, and riding UVX is encouraged.
Hosted by Paul Sleem, entertainment begins at 5 p.m. until the fireworks show begins around 9:30 p.m. Nearly 20 minutes long, the fireworks are choreographed to music, which you can tune into on your radio. Please check the University Place Events website the morning of for station details. (Please note that if you are beyond the University Place property, you may be out of range of the radio signal.)

5:00 – 9:50 p.m. Sunset Farmers Market, includes 50 local vendors
5:00 – 5:30 p.m. Kids DJ Dance Party with Special Guest
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Bluegrass Thunder
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Eating contest and stick pull
7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Music City Grove
9:30 pm – Firework show
